WE NEED MUSICAL COLLABORATORS: Looking for musicians to work with. Do you have a dad band that is ready to step out of the garage? Are you a laptop jockey looking for some mashup inspiration? Isn’t it time you dusted off your violin and call your crazy friends that play the cello, oboe, and xylophone (that... dude is nuts!). We at the Metronome Society say, yes, yes indeed, it is time to bring forward your musical talents into the real reality.
We're producing five new short plays inspired by the eclectic grouping of the musical works of Jimi Hendrix, Aretha Franklin, Sting, and Rufus Wainwright. We are looking for musical collaborators to be part of our show at the Jewel Box in July who are interested in crafting some inspiring covers and creating some finely placed transition music; we are also open to discussing the possibility of showcasing independent work relevant to the production. Musicians will be included on all marketing material and will receive a stipend.
